Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our backend systems using modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Contribute to the development of our distributed microservice architecture.
• Work closely with our GraphQL-driven services.
• Document system functionality and processes for users and the development team.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend systems.
• Collaborate in the testing process using appropriate frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest changes in backend development and best practices.
• Collaborate with the development team for seamless integration and efficient deployment processes.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• 2-3 years of experienced in modern (ES6+) JavaScript and TypeScript.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in backend development.
• 2+ years of experience with GraphQL, preferred.
• Experience in TypeScript testing frameworks (Examples: Jest, Mocha, Chai)
• Strong communication skills in both writing and speech.
• Ability to problem-solve and think critically.
• Familiarity with distributed microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Hands-on experience in test-driven development.
