Description

Developer Publications is responsible for a wide variety of products and features that aim to help individuals of all technical levels in their journey as developers. From the Apple’s developer documentation on the web (developer.apple.com/documentation) to open source projects like Swift DocC that allows internal and external developers to author great documentation, to features integrated to Xcode, our responsibilities cover a wide variety of technologies. In this role, you will join a multifunctional team of passionate engineers that maintain our existing documentation ecosystem and constantly explore new ways to support developers as they turn their ideas into reality. With your front end expertise, you will complement the team and help implement the next way of introducing developers to our technologies and how to best use them.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or 5 years of equivalent work experience.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with web frontend technologies like Vue/React or equivalent
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and best practices for integrating with backend services
  • Applied knowledge of unit testing/Test Driven Development, experience with performance optimization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization and databases beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Decision-making skills to make effective technical and design choices while balancing trade-offs in a fast-paced environment.
