OVERVIEW
iTech AG is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support our federal customer. The DevOps Engineer will provide support to our federal contract providing DevOps Engineer support throughout the contract.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient and secure software deployment.
- Maintain high-availability systems and collaborate with development teams.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate deployments and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with DevSecOps best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of programming and DevOps experience.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience automating workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments like AWS.
- Strong background in AWS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and or Mongo DB
- Comfortable with automated, frequent, incremental code testing and deployment tools and processes
- Experienced scripting abilities in Python, Shell, Groovy, AWS Cloud Formation, or Golang
- Excellent written and Communication Skills
- Expert at collaborating with team members
- Experience using a wide variety of open-source and COTS technologies and tools
- Experience w/ the key components of Data Management
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 7 years of equivalent experience
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or New Relic
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Existing GSA clearance is not required but is nice to have.
