Job Overview:  

Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to oversee the design, deployment, and automation of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth integration between software development, quality assurance, and operations teams. The manager will lead a team responsible for maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability and scalability.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Guide and support a team of DevOps engineers in their daily responsibilities, ensuring both technical and professional growth.
• Develop and drive the overall DevOps strategy to align with broader business objectives.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure management, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), monitoring, and incident response.
• Spearhead automation efforts to improve infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment workflows.
• Monitor the performance and reliability of systems, identifying and addressing issues proactively to reduce downtime and improve scalability.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud infrastructure, and introduce solutions to enhance software delivery processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development and/or DevOps engineering.
• At least 2+ years of experience managing DevOps teams, with a focus on roadmap development, Agile processes, and performance management.
• Expertise in using development and release tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Proven ability to create, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and processes within Azure environments.
• Experience in fostering a DevOps culture and driving change across teams.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as App Insights and Log Analytics.
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
