CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative engineering team member who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!
Responsibilities:
- Implement technical specifications provided by senior developers with some guidance
- Assist in solving complex problems and transform them into business solutions
- Participate in code and design discussions
- Design and build full-stack applications with guidance
- Implement software solutions that are reliable, readable and testable
- Follow company defined development and operational standards and processes
- Provide on-call support during business critical emergency scenarios. Support and troubleshoot production issues as needed
- Complete any additional tasks as they arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or related experience and/or certification
- Ability to learn quickly and solve complex problems
- Proficient at least one of the programming languages like Python, Java, Kotlin or Swift
- Understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Strong computer science foundational knowledge
- Ability to commute to our Cambridge, MA office 3 days per week
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Customer obsessed, demonstrates initiative, has a learning mindset, takes ownership
- An analytical mindset
- Bonus: Have an understanding of Agile development methodologies (specifically SCRUM)
